Haskell Street Lamps
The lamp will be placed around the Courthouse Square, then extend to the East along First Street in order to light-up the new "Entryway to Haskell" from the highway re-route bridge/exit. Three lamps will also be placed in front of the newly constructed Haskell County Library upon completion. These lamp posts will improve the look and feel of downtown Haskell. ALSO each lamp will have a gold plaque attached that can advertise businesses, honor loved ones, or in memory of someone. For more information, or to buy one of the lamp posts, or to donate to the project, call the Chamber President Brandon Anderson at 864-2355; Chamber Member Sammy Larned at 864-2749; Chamber Member, Steve King at 864-8537. Total costs for each lamp is $400.00. This includes the lamp post, globe, light fixture, bulb, paint, installation, wiring, hardware, timer, maintenance & repair.
